Camp Addis, Ethiopia

WWO’s Camp Addis includes two-week sessions of day camp for the younger children from the WWO Academy so that learning continues in the summer and nourishing meals also are available and one-week residential camp for teens (in partnership with the SeriousFun Children's Network).

In addition to integrating orphans with community children, camp counselors are almost all Ethiopian, most orphans themselves, and some from private schools. Camp is a way for these teens to develop new skills Camp Addis enjoys a very high rate of returning counselors.
