Toy Library created in Bulgaria
The Developmental Toy Library project included the training of grannies, teachers, directors and psychologists by a senior group of WWO consultants; the organization of the library; the production of a developmental manual and toy cards with cognition, fine motor, gross motor, social/emotional, and communication targets, as well as suggested activities.
For the pilot, WWO donated 140 new toys to the Debelets Children Home in Bulgaria and in November trained close to 70 people from its staff.
