House Beautiful, O at Home, Town&Country, and Veranda, have each designed a residence at The Laurel, a new 31-story glass and Indiana limestone, LEED-certified residential tower with 129 luxury residences, located on Manhattans Upper East Side.
Each apartment has been designed with an imagined resident in mind:
Susan Ferrier McAlpine Booth & Ferrier Interiors for House Beautiful: an urban roost with a couple from Atlanta in mind, this calming space features soothing color with versatile functionality.
Darryl Carter for O at Home: a spare yet well-appointed home for a couple of cultured and worldly empty nesters, who wished to blend their appreciation of modern architecture with a taste for traditional furnishings.
Stephen Miller Siegel for Town&Country: a home for a woman who has just sold her loft downtown and is starting a new chapter in life. Cultured and well-traveled, she's made the apartment, with its cosmopolitan flair and warmth, a reflection of her many facets.
Charlotte Moss for Veranda: an idyllic sanctuary for the scion on an Italian marble family and his wife, a documentary filmmaker. The apartment, a home of contrasts, blends the historicism of the Italian countryside with the 21st century.
